On March 20, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin opened, after reconstruction, a transport interchange at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road with Verkhnie Polya Street and noted that by the end of the year the construction of an overpass-exit from the outer side of the Moscow Ring Road to the largest shopping complex "Sadovod" will be completed. Also in the area of the complex, two overpasses will be opened for pedestrians. The project, which began in 2021, is nearing completion. Already now, transport accessibility of the Sadovod shopping complex and the Kapotnya, Lyublino, Maryino districts, as well as the Moscow region cities of Dzerzhinsky and Kotelniki, has significantly improved, and throughput has increased by approximately 1.5 times. After all work is completed, the area will be landscaped. Near the interchange, 12.8 hectares of lawns will be laid out, more than 720 birch and maple trees and over 4.1 thousand shrubs - lilac, spirea, cotoneaster and deraine - will be planted.
