The event took place at VDNH. More than 600 people ran: professional athletes took part in the marathon along with amateurs. Among them are Olympic champion in synchronized swimming Marina Golyadkina, Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics Anastasia Maksimova, Olympic champion in double kayaking Yuri Postrigay, Sochi Olympics participant in speed skating Lada Zadonskaya and Russian champion in rhythmic gymnastics Anastasia Guzenkova.
It was not for nothing that the marathon was called “tech run”, because during the race the participants tested innovative sports gadgets on themselves. So they were able to evaluate a lightweight holder that is attached to the chest and takes heart readings while running, and an innovative massager that targets muscles and helps avoid dangerous sports injuries.
The length of the sports distance was 3.3 km. At the finish line, each participant was awarded commemorative medals of the author's design. “Sadovod” has prepared its own prizes: stylish gifts with the complex’s branding.
— The event was very cool! It's so great to take part in the active life of the city! — a subscriber of the official Sadovoda group on VKontakte, who took part in the race, shares her impressions. — I would like to take part in such activities again!
