Today the national tricolor turns 353 years old! The whole country celebrates this day, large-scale events are held in the capital: TC “Gardener” was no exception!

Today, visitors to the shopping complex were treated to a beautiful photo zone in the colors of the Russian tricolor and the main hero of the occasion - the Russian flag, which everyone could receive as a gift!

The day August 22 was not chosen by chance. It was on this date that during the coup in 1991, the white-blue-red tricolor was raised over the White House. It became the official “National Flag Day” in 1994.

However, the history of the flag itself goes back centuries. The white-blue-red banner was first hung in 1668 on the Russian ship "Eagle" during the reign of Alexei Mikhailovich. A quarter of a century later, such a banner became the personal standard of Peter I, and a few years later the tricolor began to be raised “on all kinds of merchant ships,” and also in order to indicate the ownership of Russian territories.

Despite this, the white-red-blue tricolor was recognized as the official (state) flag of Russia only on the eve of the coronation of Nicholas II in 1896. Then the colors in it symbolized: white - freedom and independence, blue - the Mother of God, red - sovereignty.

Today, the colors of the Russian flag are often interpreted as follows: white means peace, purity, purity, perfection; blue - faith and fidelity, constancy; red - energy, strength and blood shed for the Fatherland.
