— I’ve been playing chess for 2 years! I really love this game because it requires you to think, build tactics, and calculate steps ahead,” he shares his impressions. — Chess is our family hobby. My sister is also playing here today.
By the way, Anastasia, the sister of the youngest participant and also still a teenager (she is 17 years old), was the only representative of the fair sex in this competition, but she was not afraid to fight with adult male players!
As the tournament progressed, the time for each game increased and the tension increased. The final battle lasted almost an hour and brought together a lot of chess lovers and just fans!
“It’s so great when such interesting events are organized at Sadovod,” a visitor to the shopping center shared with us. “I myself don’t know how to play chess, but I was so interested in watching the players that I was inspired to learn how to do it!”
The winner of the tournament was determined after 4 hours of competition, after which a solemn award ceremony took place. All participants, without exception, were awarded certificates and valuable gifts from the Sadovod shopping center. The winner also received a gift set of wooden chess and backgammon, and the participants who took 2nd and 3rd places received gift dominoes.
— We really enjoyed the event! It was interesting and exciting! We hope that such tournaments will become a good tradition of the Sadovod TC,” they said.
